Change your mind, free. Cancel free within 24 hours of booking, so long as check-in is more than 48 hours away.
The room is held in your name. Paying is what takes the room off the market. Until then a property can still let it, however warmly they answered the phone.
The rate is in writing. What you are quoted is recorded on the booking, so the price at the desk is not a matter of anyone remembering it.
A reference and a receipt. Your own booking page shows the property, the dates, the rate and what you paid — something to point at on arrival, and to claim back against.
We chase the answer. We follow the property until they reply and tell you the moment they do, rather than leaving you to ring back.

Nothing to pay now. When the property confirms, our 6% holds the room in your name and gives you a receipt — the room itself you settle with them directly, and they keep their full rate.
